Book Haul

Hey Guys,
What most of you don't know about me is that I'm completely obsessed with reading, it's by far one of my favourite things to do.
Today I thought I'd share with you a little book haul.

You Had Me At Hello
This book is about a girl named Rachel and a boy named Ben, they used to be very close and felt like it was them against the world. It has been a decade since they last spoke until they bump into each other on a rainy day... I am very excited to read this because I think its going to be all romantical and slushy and who doesn't love romantical and slushy eh?

The Accident
Sue Jackson's daughter Charlotte deliberately steps out in front of a bus and ends up in a coma, Sue has to discover why? Sounds awfully interesting...

The Shock Of The Fall
I'm not entirely sure what this book is about other than someone's brother, Simon, dies? Gosh I'm really selling this to you guys aren't I!

Wonder
I'm also unsure about this book, all the blurb says is 'My name is August. I won't describe what I look like. Whatever you're thinking, it's probably worse.' I am intrigued.

Let me know if you enjoyed a bit of a different post.

FOTD

Hey Guys,
Today I thought I'd share with you my everyday make-up look, I hope you enjoy.

First of all I used The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Day Cream. I applied Veil Cover Cream in Beige using the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush, I then powdered my face with Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Powder in medium, this powder is great it really does keep away shine all day. For my brows I used Jane Iredale Eye Shadow in Dark Suede using an angled brush. I applied Jane Iredale Eye Shadow in Supernova all over my lids, I also used Jane Iredale Eye Shadow in Charcoal to line the tops of my eyes, as you can tell I'm totally obsessed with Jane Iredale eye shadows they are so pigmented and beautiful!! Of course I used Maybelline The Falsies Mascara as It's the most perfect mascara ever, obviously. To contour my cheeks I used the Seventeen Instant Glow Gold Bronze Shimmer Brick. I used Avon Ideal Luminous Blush in Peach on the apples of my cheeks. Lastly I used my most favourite lipstick Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate in 08, it lasts for ages and doesn't dry out my lips at all.

Let me know if you've enjoyed this post or if you've tried any of these products.

Veil Cover Cream Review

Hey Guys,
Veil Cover Cream have been kind enough to send me some free samples, I was super excited to try it out as I have heard great things about it.

I have a lot of redness in my cheeks and around my nose and discolouration around my eyes, I have never been able to find anything to completely cover it up, until now, Veil Cover Cream is amazing it has completely covered up everything that I want to hide, it's completely full coverage without being at all cakey and it lasts all day long.

Veil Cover Cream is waterproof and has an SPF of 15.
It will cover up almost anything you want to hide including tattoos and birthmarks.

If you want to buy your own Veil Cream head over to veilcovercream.com I 100% recommend it and will certainly be heading over there to buy some of my own.

Make-up Wish List

Hey Guys,
There are so so many items on my make-up wish list, so today I thought I'd share with you some of my most wanted items.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
I've been trying to look for a good full coverage foundation for a long time as I have quite a lot of redness in my cheek area. I've heard some great reviews about this foundation and I hope I get to try it sometime soon.

Zoeva Rose Gold Luxury Brush Set
I've been wanting to try out some zoeva brushes for a while now as I've heard some good things about them and this rose gold set is so beautiful. I want I want I want!

MAC Lipstick, Russian Red
Does this need an explanation? Every girl needs a good red lipstick.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner
I love liquid liner, there's nothing better than a good cat eye. I've heard essiebutton rave about this liner and it's essiebutton so of course I trust her opinion implicitly.

Have you tried any of these products? If so what did you think of them?

July Non Beauty Favourites

Hey Guys,
So yesterday I did a July Beauty Favourites post so today I thought I'd do one on all the non beauty related items that I have been loving.

Twinings Peach & Cherry Blossom Green Tea
This tea is just wow, definitely the nicest I've tasted out of the flavoured teas I've tried so far(I've only recently started getting into tea) I will for sure repurchase this tea over and over again.
TEA GLORIOUS TEA.

  Sandals, Primark
I adore these sandals, they're so comfortable and i just think they're super cool. Although everyone in my family seems to hate then I've had them described as anything from too old fashioned for my 83 year old nan to Gandhi's flip flops! I don't understand why everyone hates them.
I think they're great so I will continue to wear them with pride.

Music
Chuck Regan - You and I alone Listen Here
Deaf Havana -Speeding Cars Listen Here

TV Shows
This month I have rediscovered the fabulous OC, it's like being in 2003 all over again, it's so bad yet so bloody good, also Ryan Atwood is gloriously attractive.(although i do have a bit of a dad crush on Sandy Cohen).

July Favourites

Hey Guys,
There have been a few products that I have been loving throughout July so I thought I'd share them with you.

Jane Iredale Eye Shadow Duo, Ouster and Supernova
This is probably my Favourite eye shadow duo ever!! Supernova is my everyday without fail eyeshadow, it just a great colour and the pigment is amazing, I use oyster as a highlighter and once again it's beautiful! Jane Iredale eyeshadows are amazing and I really recommend this duo.

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
Love this brush a lot, you can't go wrong with Real Techniques brushes they're great but this one has to be my favourite, my foundation just looks so much better when applied with this!

Lasting Finish Lipstick Kate Moss Collection, 08 Rossetto
This is my favourite lipstick to wear in the daytime, it's well pigmented but not too in your face. It's definitely long lasting and super easy to wear.
I lost this lipstick for so long and was awfully upset and I found it behind the microwave of all places(I have no idea!) so now I refuse to let it out of my sight ever again.

AVON Ideal Luminous Blush, Peach
This summer I'm trying to wear a little less makeup than normal, and this blush is great for a natural flush on the cheeks.
I'm terrified of blusher at the best of times because I feel like I always look like coco the clown whilst wearing it as I have naturally red cheeks, but this one is great, highly recommended for anyone with a blusher phobia like myself.

Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express Mascara
Do I really have to explain why I love this? I mean everyone already knows how great it is right?
It makes my lashes look long and divine without being at all clumpy, it's great at the moment because I'm trying to wear less eye makeup and I love making my lashes the statement!
EVERYONE WHO HASN'T TRIED THIS NEEDS TO RIGHT NOW, IT WILL PROBABLY CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
